Terms And Conditions.

As a user of this website you acknowledge that you are bound to our Terms and Conditions below. These Terms and Conditions are effective as of 1st of September 2022.

Please read these terms carefully before using the Site. Using the Site indicates that you accept the General Conditions. If you do not accept the General Conditions, please do not use the Site. We may revise the Conditions at any time. You should check the Site from time to time to review the current version of the Conditions because they are binding on you.

1) It is the responsibility of the customer to declare the true content of the package and ensure proper packaging of the item/s to facilitate delivery. Damaged item/s caused by improper or no packaging will not be liable by First Choice Courier Service Inc.

2) First Choice Courier Service Inc. does not accept any illegal/prohibited items/goods under the law of USA. First Choice Courier Service Inc. will not be liable for any circumstances that may arise from such events.

3) First Choice Courier Service Inc. does not handle Hazardous and Toxic consignments.

4) First Choice Courier Service Inc. reserves the right to terminate, temporarily suspend, refuse or reject any consignments in the event of defaulted or non payment of any invoices without further notice. In the event payment recovery is seek through legal channel, all payments incurred shall be borne by the customer.

5) Delivery and pick up timing will be in between the available pick up time and service level chosen. There are no options for exact pick up and delivery timing. Pick up and delivery timing may vary depending on destinations, traffic and weather. We shall not be held liable for delivery delays caused by events beyond our control.

6) In the event of consignment being cancelled on site, i.e. upon the courier’s attendance/ after pickup of consignment, a 50% charge of the total original amount is payable.

7) If on the delivery date and time agreed by the customer, no one is present at the address stated in the order to receive/deliver goods, the customer shall hold responsible for the extra transport charges incurred for the subsequent delivery(ies) of the goods.

8) Any quotation / contract / agreement signed are valid till due date of “X” number of months stated; termination will be liable to a fixed penalty of stated amount.

9) All invoices are to be paid promptly or late payment penalty of $40 or 5% of the invoice; whichever is higher will be imposed every 2 weeks until full payment has been completed.

Liability

10) By using First Choice Courier Service Inc., you agree that First Choice Courier shall not be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages and disclaims all warranties expressed or implied with respect to carriage of any consignment. The liability of First Choice Courier Service Inc. shall be limited to $60 per consignment regardless of circumstances. All claims must be reported in writing with attached supporting evidence within 7 working days. First Choice Courier Service Inc. will only be liable if item/s is/are damaged and/or if item is lost during transit while item is in possession of First Choice Courier Service Inc. delivery agents .

11) First Choice Courier Service Inc. will not be responsible for any loss or complications that may arise for return of documents by postal mail or any private request/s with our delivery agents that is not related to the courier industry. Customers are strictly not allowed to request driver/s to pick up or deliver cash and request driver/s to make payment on behalf. First Choice Courier Service Inc. will not be responsible for any loss for non adherence.

12) First Choice Courier Service Inc. reserves the right to contact you by e-mail with any promotional and special offers. If you should no longer wish to receive these please email at support@firstchoicecouriering.com

13) Our aim to provide outstanding customer service. If you have any complaint about the service you have received from us, please contact our Customer Service Department. Please allow 7 working days for a response to any written complaint.
